d. 722 AD, Abercrossan (Applecross)

Founded monastery at Applecross in 673 AD He was abbot for 50 years.

Landed in Skye at Ashaig where St. Maolrubha's Well lies.

After St. Columba, perhaps the most popular saint of north-west Scotland
